Yes it’ s that time of year again – Halloween! We have fun making seasonal balloon sculptures all year long, but Halloween really let’s us cut loose with some silly, spooky, scary stuff!
We get incredibly busy at this time of year — along with the multitude of birthday events, we also get hired to provide balloons and face painting for tons of fall/Halloween events. What this means to you, is that we may have a tough time putting your event into the schedule over the next 5-6 weeks. If you have an occasion coming up, please call us ASAP!
Now for the fun stuff. Here are some photos of things we have made for past Halloween events. The creepy green hand coming out of a box while holding a dislodged eyeball (the photo to the right) is our latest spooky creation. Scroll down for more photos.

- Yes, this IS an alien hat!

All Things Balloon, Inc has teamed up with Hayward Gaude Photography!
We have finally found a great solution to one of our long-term problems — how do you really showcase a fantastic balloon creation? Unless you have a really cool photography studio handy, you probably just try to get a clean background and hope you can edit the photo — if you have the time and software.
To get great photos, you need a great photographer who already has with lots of lights and high-end camera equipment in his studio. One who knows his stuff, and can apply his expertise to each unique circumstance.
We have found a fantastic photographer– Hayward Gaude photography — to help us bring our balloon creations to life. Hayward has the skills, and the equipment, to make the photos you see on our website really “pop!”
We plan on using Hayward’s talents to gradually replace all of the photos on our website with professionally produced photos. Here are the first two photos to show you what I’m talking about–
- A beautiful Cockatoo – great for a table centerpiece
- EEEK! A flying monkey! $24.95, plus Tax & Delivery
For your information, the “Not-Professional Photographer” photos took me a long time to produce (using Photoshop Elements 11), and they look pretty OK, if you don’t look too close. The photos Hayward took really adds a lot of depth and eliminates those pesky shadows, giving us a beautiful idea of what the balloon creation actually looked like when it was built.
Hayward Gaude Photography is a local boutique photography studio in North San Antonio near Helotes specializing in Heirloom Quality fine portraiture for your home. Their goal is to deliver the absolute finest in photographic wall art that you will be proud to hang in your home for years to come.
Hayward and his wife Shannon have been in San Antonio since 2005 and decided that they absolutely love working with families and children and focused our boutique photography business around that specialty — which makes them an ideal match for us at All Things Balloon, Inc.!
I am really looking forward to working with HG Photography, and improving our portfolio of balloon photos. And if you need some fantastic family fotos, you should visit their website or give them a call at (210) 265-1101 to set up a no-obligation appointment. Shannon and Hayward are extremely nice people to deal with, and I’m sure you will be pleased with your results!

Balloonamations is becoming All Things Balloon, Inc.

As of 1 April 2013, Balloonamations has become All Things Balloon, Inc. Not much will change from your perspective – we will still send out the most fantastic balloon artists and face painters to events all over the San Antonio,TX area.
The new name better reflects our overall latex engineering skills — balloon art (like the balloon sculptures shown on this website), balloon bouquets and balloon decorations. (We also keep the same fantastic face painters, but the name “All Things Balloon and Face Painters too.Inc” wouldn’t fit on a business card)
Speaking of the amazing balloon sculptures on this site– the examples we show on this website are not etched in stone. We can change a lot of the elements of any of the balloon sculptures you find here. Based upon availability, you can select different colors, add or subtract balloons — if it looks good to you, we will try to make it happen. Some changes will result in a price increase, others may actually reduce the price of a bouquet. The point is, we can do a lot of personal customization to make sure your balloon sculpture is PERFECT for the recipient!
We are honored that you have chosen All Things Balloon, Inc. to spread latex love throughout the San Antonio area!

Like the rest of San Antonio, we LOVE our Spurs! We have really enjoyed meeting the thousands of Spurs fans who show up at the games and get a balloon from us. We have got to have the greatest fans in the NBA!
Recently, we built another life-sized Spurs Coyote…..this one was for the fans who showed up at the River Walk Hard Rock Cafe. ESPN was shooting their morning show on the Hard Rock’s patio, and they were doing a lot of local scenery. So, Sheryl and our Balloon Coyote volunteered to ride the Fan Barge into the TV shot. LOTS of people got to see that shot!
Here’s what it looked like…
No matter how the series turns out, we are so proud of our team — they are really a great bunch of guys, along with probably the BEST COACH in the NBA – Greg Popovich!!
We are pretty sure the Spurs will get an honorary River Parade when they get home – hopefully with NBA Ring #5!! So be sure to show the team how much we appreciate them!
Go – Spurs!!

Once again, the San Antonio Spurs have made it to the NBA Finals! Lots of the Spurs fans around town are really showing their passion for the 4-time NBA Champs with flags, bumper stickers, and all kinds of Spurs fashion – from belts and hats to shirts and shorts — just about anything that can be put on/worn that shows the Spurs colors and spirit!
We are also doing our part to build Spurs Spirit — we can build Spurs Coyote hats and scepters, we can make the Coyote decked out with his own basket ball, or we can build life-sized balloon versions of the Coyote and the Spurs Team. While you usually see these balloon sculptures at the AT&T Center on game night, we are giving you another opportunity to pick up your own Coyote or Spurs hat made out of balloons.
Tuesday morning, 11 June 2013 (starting around 7:30 am), ESPN will be broadcasting live from the Riverwalk Hard Rock Cafe. And All Things Balloon will be there with a life-sized Spurs Coyote balloon sculpture, and the first 20 people to show up will get a balloon Spurs hat. So come on out to the Hard Rock, show your support for the Spurs as they drive for #5!
- Very stylish, with matching Spurs shirts, Spurs face paint and Spurs Coyote hats
- Little Spurs fans are GREAT!
- Life sized Spurs Coyote — in latex!
- Let’s play some B-Ball!

As it has been for the last 9 seasons, Balloonamations is doing our part to help the Spurs to victory! We can be found producing balloon art on the patio 2 hours prior to tip off, and in the main entrance from 1 hour prior to tip off. Both balloon artist leave the ATT Center at tip off, so if you want a fabulous balloon Coyote, or any of our really cool balloon creations, GET THERE EARLY!
The past couple of games we have also brought along a couple of guests –
We also created a Life-sized balloon version of the Spurs Coyote, and Tim Duncan….I’ll post more photos soon.
There is a ton of fun stuff to do and see in the pre-game show – live music, dunking booths, food trucks, face painting, and of course – Balloonamations!. So make every effort to get out there and support our Spurs!!

it’s another!
Our other two sites BalloonDecor-SA and BalloonBouquets-SA were hacked a couple of weeks ago, and we finally got them back in operation yesterday. Now our phone system is giving us fits! We apologize if this situation requires us to call you back several times, or have you repeat information back to us several times.
We hope to have all of our digital woes under control in just a few days. You can still book events with us, still get quotes for our services – whatever you need (balloon-wise) we are still able to communicate in numerous ways.
The Balloonamations team continues to come up with new or improved designs…here is one of Ernie’s passions, a really cool jet fighter.
Here is an example of an improvement of a design — this Leprechaun is a lot more interesting……
than our previous attempt (which is still pretty good)
